2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Service, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the Service, or otherwise when you contact us.

The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Service, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

  • Personal Information Provided by You: We collect names; email addresses; usernames; passwords; contact preferences; billing addresses; debit/credit card numbers (processed by Stripe); and other similar information.
  • User Content: We collect the images you upload to the Service for remodeling purposes, including any metadata associated with those images.
  • Payment Data: We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number (such as a credit card number), and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored and processed by Stripe. You should review Stripe's privacy policies and contact Stripe directly for responses to your questions.

Information automatically collected: We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Service. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Service, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Service, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information collected via our Service for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations. We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below:

  • To facilitate account creation and logon process.
  • To manage user accounts. We may use your information for the purposes of managing your account and keeping it in working order.
  • To send administrative information to you. We may use your personal information to send you product, service, and new feature information and/or information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
  • To fulfill and manage your orders and subscriptions.We may use your information to fulfill and manage your orders, payments, returns, and exchanges made through the Service.
  • To provide and maintain the Service. This includes using your uploaded images to process through AI models for generating remodeled versions as requested by you.
  • To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users.We may use your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you might have with the use of our Services.
  • To improve the Service. We may use information about how you use our Service to understand how it can be improved.
  • For other Business Purposes. We may use your information for other Business Purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, marketing and your experience.

4. Sharing Your Information

We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

  • Service Providers: We may share your personal information with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. Examples include: payment processing (Stripe), data storage and authentication (Supabase), AI model processing (e.g., GPT-4o or other third-party AI service providers), and data analytics. We will ensure that these third parties are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).
  • Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your information, including personal data and uploaded images, is stored on Supabase servers. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. These measures include data encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Service is at your own risk. You should only access the Service within a secure environment.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location (such as if you are in Australia), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information under applicable data protection laws, such as the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988. These rights may include:

  • The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate or complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have not complied with our privacy obligations.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to access or store information. Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can refuse certain cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy (if applicable, or to be detailed here). For now, we use essential cookies for site functionality, such as session management with Supabase Auth. We may also use cookies for analytics purposes to understand how our Service is used.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or a higher age threshold as required by applicable law in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
